The Mazda 6 comes in two engine types, the 2.5-Liter SkyActiv-G 4-Cylinder that generates 187 horsepower on the Sport and Touring and the turbocharged 2.5T Dynamic Pressure Turbo DOHC, 16-valve with VVT engine that delivers 250 horsepower on the GT, GT-Reserve and Signature. These are all mated to a 6-speed SkyActiv Automatic Transmission. All the Mazda 6 variants feature SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control Plus which provides some superb handling by altering the torque based on throttle for some fine balance on difficult roads. The 2.5-Liter engine is also reckoned for excellent EPA estimated highway mileage of 35mpg.
