Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2019 Information brochure has been released by NTA and students may check details regarding the exam from here. Students have the opportunity of selecting exam centers and date of examination for both paper 1 and paper 2.
Students would be given to choose 4 cities as per their convenience for paper 1 or paper 2 or both paper 1 & 2. NTA would take care that the city allotted would be among the choices filled by the candidate in the application form.
But once the exam city is allotted by NTA, that would be considered final and no request of change would be entertained by NTA. But it is to be noted here that candidates filling form for both paper 1 as well as paper 2 may have distinct practice centers for both the exams.
Candidates therefore must be very cautious while filling up the city preference as it is a one-time opportunity.
However, exam shift and dates was released on October 19, 2018 on the official website of NTA. Candidates may login using their credentials and check out their exam city and date of examination from there.
JEE Main 2019: Allocation of Exam City
NTA would announce the exam cities allotted to the candidates through official website of JEE Main on October 21, 2019. Here are the steps to check out the exam city been allotted:-
- Visit the official website of JEE Main 2019.
- Go to the application portal and login using your ID and password.
- Exam city and date would be displayed on the screen.
- You can take out the printout of the application form then to be used for future purpose.
JEE Main 2019: Admit Card Release
Admit card for JEE Main 2019 would be released on Dec 17, 2018 on official website of JEE Main. Candidates may login on official website of JEE Main 2019 using their ID and password. Click on the “admit card” tab and admit card would get displayed. Candidates are advised to download the admit card and take a print out of the same until admission procedure ceases. Candidates would not be allowed inside the examination hall without admit card.
